Lyrics : Gouriprasanna Majumder

Movie : Deep Jwele Jai (1959)

Flute used for notations : F#

What a soulful song!  This song was remade in Hindi in the 1964 movie Kohra.  The melody of the Sthayi part of both the versions is same.  But, the Antara in this Bengali version is shorter and simpler than its counterpart.

A very easy to play song on instruments as it does not contain any komal swars.  You only have to pay attention to the use of Meend (~) between the notes to create that wavy effect in the melody.

Hindi version of this song is here.
