Sargam notes for song Aate jate
Singer : Lata Mangeshkar – S. P. Balasubramaniam,
Lyricist : Dev Kohli,
Music Director : Ram Laxman,
Movie : Maine Pyar Kiya (1989)

This song is ‘inspired’ by the original composition “I just called to say I Love You” by Stevie Wonder. Although the English version is beautiful, the Hindi version composed by Ram Laxman is equally popular and romantic.

This song is perhaps meant for Violin however, being a soft number, this sounds cool in wind instruments like flute, harmonica and Saxophone as well.

I produced the following Sargam for this song on A# flute taking Sa as the first note.
