Scale of flute I used : C Middle

This song is so catchy. Simple composition. Easy to play. Earlier I tried to write the Sargam from Pa (on my B scale flute) as the first note, but then after the Sthayi part the notes were not proper for the Antara. So, I changed my flute to C middle and took Ga as the first note. And, now the whole song sounded perfect with these notations. Play and enjoy! Just pay attention to lower octave notes (,)

How to read SARGAM
  • CAPITAL LETTERS Shuddh Swars (Natural Notes)
  • small letters Komal Swars (Flat Notes)
  • with # [hash] or ^ [exponent] = Tivra Madhyam (M# / M^)
  • Letter/Alphabet ONLY = Medium Pitch/Normal blow on flute
  • Letter/Alphabet PRECEDED BY a ” . ” [full stop] or  a ” , ” [comma] = Low Octave Note/Softer blow on flute
  • Letter/Alphabet FOLLOWED BY a ‘ [single quote] = High Octave Note/harder blow on flute
  • Notes in { } “murki” have to be played very fast without any pause
  • A Note in ( ) “kann swar” has to be just touched before moving on to the next note
  • A “~” between two Notes  = “meend”. That is, you have to glide from one note to another slowly to produce that wavy effect.
  • Few “….” (dots) after a note = Play and hold that note

  1. सरगम के साथ साथ धुन बांसुरी पर बजा कर भी डाला करो श्रीमान
    समझना आसान हो जाता है।

  2. Please give notes for prelude and interlude also. Then only the song can be played completely.
