Who Can Participate
Amateur, Non-Professional, Musicians Over 15 Years Of Age
Anyone can participate in this Instrumental Music Contest, provided that he/she:
- Should be over 15 years of age (as on 01st August 2021). There is no maximum age limit. (Your date of birth certificate may be demanded by us, if needed).
- Should not be a professional artist who performs for a living.

How To Participate
Send a 120-Second Video Recording
- Fill up the Registration Form at the bottom of this page.
- Make payment of Registration Fee
- Record your 02-minute video, playing any one film song, folk song, ghazal, bhajan or Raag bandish of your choice on your instrument. You may check out the songs listed on this site.
- Send it through Whatsapp only to +91-9013921743 as “[Song/Tune’s Title (space) Instrument Name (space) Full Name (space) Sex/Age (space) Place] Example: Sholay Theme Harmonica Sunny Mathur F/36 Mumbai.
- Your entry should reach us before 23:59 hrs, 15th Aug 2021.
What can you send
As an entry for your participation, you can record and send one of the following:
- A Film Song
- A Folk Song
- A Bhajan
- A Ghazal
- A Raag/Bandish
Disqualification
Your participation in this Instrumental Music Contest will be cancelled under following circumstances:
- If your video is not a live recording.
- If your video has been recorded in a studio.
- If your face is clearly not visible in the video.
- If your entry is received after cut-off date/s.
- If you use different phone numbers to send multiple recordings.
- If information provided by you is found to be incorrect.
- If you do not make payment of registration fee.
Selection Process
Performance & Challenge
In the Entry Round, out of all the entries received on or before 23:59 hrs 15th Aug 2021, only top 25 entries will be shortlisted for next round.
List of Top 25 Musicians will be displayed on this website on 17th Aug 2021. Intimation will be sent to the winners of this round through WhatsApp messages on their registered mobile numbers.
Next, in Performance Round, the Top 25 Musicians will be asked to play and record any of the songs from a particular list on their instruments. The list of songs will be uploaded on this website on 18th August 2021. Musicians will be required to record their playing for a maximum of 120 seconds and forward those to +919013921743 only through WhatsApp before 00:00 hrs 20th August 2021.
From the Performance Round, Top 10 Musicians will be shortlisted for Judges’ Round. Their names will be displayed on this website on 21st August 2021.
Finally, in the Judges’ Round on 28th August 2021 the top 10 Musicians will have to perform (through Video Conference) on the challenges given by the Judges on the spot.
Decision of the Judges will be final and binding on all participants of this Instrumental Music Contest .
Winners
Based on the performances in the Judges’ Round, top 3 winners of this Instrumental Music Contest will be declared on 29th August 2021. Prizes shall be credited into their Bank Accounts. Digital Certificates shall be sent to them by emails.

Season 2 of N&S Instrumental Music Contest sat off to a flying start. This time we received 146 entries (till last date 15th August 2021) from some really talented musicians. Our team had a tough time to shortlist Top 25 among those. A Video collage of their entry round performances is uploaded on our YouTube Channel. We were wrong when we thought selecting 25 musicians was difficult. Selecting top-10 was even tougher for the Judges. So much so that we had to make it Top-11 instead of 10. Who Are The Judges for this Instrumental Music Contest

Sh. SantAkshat
A disciple of Pt. Rupak Kulkarni who is one of the leading Flautists in Mumbai music industry, SantAkshat is a promising and passionate Flutist.
SantAkshat has performed live with celebrities Like Javed Ali, Sudesh Bhosle, Jolly Mukherjee, Sanjeevani Bhelande, Anandji (Kalyanji Anandji), Kailash Kher, Suresh Wadkar, Viju Shah, Annu Kapoor (Golden Era With Annu Kapoor), Rajesh Roshan, etc. SantAkshat contributes in famous Music Companies like, Tips, Saregama, Shemaroo, Venus, T-Series and many more. He also plays Flute for movies, TV Serials, Albums, and Commercials ads. He does Live Concerts, Shows, Events such as, Musical Reality Shows, Mega Corporate Shows, etc.
An exemplary Flutist who is deft at playing Bollywood songs on flute. He keeps sharing tips on how to play flute and, songs on flute through his YouTube Channel which is very popular among the flute players. His YouTube channel has over 15k subscribers as on date.

Sh. Gautam Garg
A fine Guitar player, Gautam Garg was born and brought up in Chennai. He is an Industrial Engineer by qualification and a graduate from BITS, Pilani. It is there he developed an interest to learn and play the Guitar and is been playing the guitar since around 25 years. He also sings .
Gautam is an ardent fan of RD Burman and loves his music. He also loves Music by Beatles and Simon Garfunkel.
He has a face book and YouTube page by name ‘ggacoustics’, ‘GautamGargmusic.’

Smt. Anjana Ray
Her expertise is in the field of Music. She is an excellent Sitar player who started her first lesson on Sitar under her Guru Smt. Manjushree Roy in Kolkata. She has also learnt Sitar from Sri Shanmukhannanda Fine Arts & Sangeetha Sabha in Mumbai and completed 7-year course under Guru Late P. Parchure Sir. She belongs to Senia (Maihar) Gharana.
She graduated in Science from University of Calcutta. She also completed Parichay from Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samity, wardha. She has done a certification course of Psy-Oncology Volunteer programme from Cancer Patient Aid Association and Yoga Instructor Course from Iswardas Chunilal Yogic Health Care Centre.
