Sargam notations of song : Chalo ik bar fir se

Singer : Mahendra Kapoor
Lyricist : Sahir Ludhianvi
Music Director : Ravi
Movie : Gumrah (1963)

Scale : F#

This song gave me troubles for many days in finding its correct first notes of Mukhda as well as all three Antaras. All the Antaras of this song Chalo ik bar fir se… start with different notes, which generally do not happen. That’s why after playing the interludes, it confused me for many days to figure out the correct notes to start each of these Antaras. And, interestingly, the third Antara started with Komal Rishabh (r), which doesn’t appear anywhere except in the first line of third Antara.

But, finally I succeeded in writing notations of this timeless classic Hindi film song Chalo ik bar fir se… Hope, you’ll find these notations easy to play on your instruments.
