Although this song can be played with starting note as Gandhar, but it sounded great on my C scale flute when I took Shadaj as the first note. I had to use Mandra Saptak Madhyam or Low Octave Ma (,M) at few places, which means on flute, you may have to use the 7th hole with your Pinky finger. That may be a little difficult for the beginners, but practice will sail you through it. Enjoy this immortal Manna De Song on your instruments.
